Adventures in the kitchen!

At my house, ham is somewhat the less favourite meal to eat. 
I always did my ham in a slow cooker with just maple syrup.
This time around I decided to try something new!
So here's the ingredients for this recipe:


Ham 
30 whole cloves (or less)
3 cups of apple cider, or as needed
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup of maple syrup
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. nutmeg 
2 tsp. ginger
2 tbsp ground cloves
1 tbsp. vanilla extract (optional)
1 orange's peel (if you don't have orange any citrus fruit will do)

My family loved it. It was delicious :)\
I will definitely keep and redo this recipe for supper.

I also tried a new recipe to make Brocoli Potage.
I always did just plain old brocoli potage and this time I wanted to spice the potage up a bit.

It was delicious and you can really taste the apples in it.
I added cinnamon to give it a punch in the potage. 
It was awesome.
Will definitely keep this one too!
