3 books in 3 months!

From Feburary to April, I read 3 books in 3 months!
I have always loved to read books since I'm a teenager and younger.
What I noticed about me and books is that I'm becoming more and more picky in the books that I read.
The one thing that really gets me to be extremely picky in books is this: does it make me explore my bible???
I love challenges and bible challenge is even better for me in each role of my life.

This book above was a book about books. As a mom of one child in school soon 2.
It was a very ressourceful book to have and read also.
Ever since I read this book, I've made discoveries in finding books through a second hand store.

I liked to read this book. Why you say?
As a mom with young or older children, we tend to lose focus on the good things in our children and husband as well.
What I liked about it was that each chapter starts with a letter from a mom with young children in which a reponse from an older woman (like in Titus 2) encourages the young mom.
I have to saw that the feelings are truly truthful about being a mom to younger children.
I was able to indentify myself with her.
At the end of each chapter, she makes us search bibles verses and there meaning for us.
In all, I was challenged as a mom of 3 and could see alot of myself in different situation from the past and the present with my 3 kiddos.

I looked at this book with this classic sentence "NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT"S COVER"
I don't have a very large family like the author .
However, the book itself  was interesting on some levels.
Here's what I thought about it:
It sucks to say but this book is a "how to kinda book"
There is some biblical aspect to it but not a whole lot.
It didn't really challenge me in any way or yet again, some of the advice that she gave was not something new or I have already figured it out along time ago.
It's not something very challenging for me. I just read it 'cause I was curious to know what the commossion was about this book.

So there it is 3 book in a 3 month period.

This summer is relaxing, spending time with my little family and fun, fun, fun.
Have a nice summer!
